Public health concerns change format for Eagle Club Golf Classic

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman's annual Eagle Club Golf Classic will proceed as planned June 6 at the Severville Golf Club; however, the format will be a bit different compared to what the event has seen in the past, or what was planned this year.

The event will still begin at 8 a.m.; however, instead of a shotgun start, teams will be provided tee times in order to abide by state social distancing guidelines for large gatherings.  Furthermore, all registration fees and mulligans must be paid via check or credit card prior to the event. No payment will be taken on the day of competition.

Breakfast and lunch will still be provided, however,  it will be boxed and not buffet-style.  Furthermore, carts will be limited to one occupant with an exception made for family members who are playing together.

Scoring will still take place, but instead of an award ceremony following the event, results will be emailed to all participants and posted to cneagles.com as well.  Prizes and winnings will be mailed post tournament, including those who win the longest drive and closest to the pin contests.

Individual entry for the event is 160 dollars. Single registration places players in a scramble, while an entire foursome can join for 600 dollars.

Corporate, hole and cart sponsorships are also available.

To register, do so online at the link, or fill out the attached brochure.
