JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman has released the nine names up for consideration to the Carson-Newman Athletics Hall of Fame.

Voting is open to all former Carson-Newman athletes and can be done at the following link: https://cneagles.com/HallOfFame/2019HoFBallot 

Or by filling at the form at the bottom of this release. Voting will close Oct. 11.  

The Athletics Club Hall of Fame Committee will announce the inductees later this month.  The 2020 Carson-Newman Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place Fri. January 31, 2020.  

Those up for consideration this year are.

• Adams, Steve (Men's Basketball - one of five 2000 point scores)
• Bock, Jennifer (Women's Soccer, two final fours, two-time All-American, second all-time in points and goals)
• Buford, Shari (Women's Basketball, All-American, Sweet 16, third all-time in WBB in scoring)
• Carter, Eddie (Men's Basketball/Women's Basketball Coach/Administrator, one of three members of 1000-point, 1000-rebound club)
• Hickam, Whitney (Softball, two-time All-American, career leader in doubles)
• Rumph, Quez (Football, only four-time All-American in football history)
• Sweeney, Mark (Men's Golf, first MG AA, SAC POTY)
• Thomas, Robert (Football, All-Time leading rusher, All-American)
• Tyson, Kenneth (Football, second all-time leading rusher)
