FEMALE NEWCOMER:

Kaina Roehrkasse: The Sioux Falls transfer made a big splash in her first season at Mossy Creek ranking seventh nationally in total blocks and 11th in the country in blocks per set for a team that ranked second in America in rejections. Roehrkasse pounded out 15 kills and a .667 hitting percentage to anchor a five-set Carson-Newman victory over Emmanuel on Sept. 7. The hitting clip was the highest by an Eagle with double-digit kills since All-American Jenna Wilson had 12 kills on 18 swings at Coker on Oct. 31, 2014.

Lira Mathes: Junior defender Lira Mathes made her way to C-N from Martin Methodist College, where she was immediately inserted into the rotation of key role players for Simon Duffy's squad. Mathes scored two goals on the season, including a game winning header to upset No. 6 Lincoln Memorial. Getting it done on and off the field, Mathes was named an Academic All-American Women's Soccer third-team member by the College Sports Information Directors of America

Hannah Moorhouse: A transfer from Belmont, high-jumper Hannah Moorhouse finished second in her main event with a mark of 1.55m at the Bast-Cregger Invitational in her first meet in a C-N uniform.

Delaney Griffin: In her final collegiate season, Griffin transferred from ETSU to Mossy Creek and immediately made a team impact. Often sporting the bright green captain's armband for the Eagles, Griffin fired home two goals and added three assists for a total of seven points, including a game-winner against Anderson. She started in 16 contests for C-N and finished the season second in shots on goal with 20.
