JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The nominees for 13 Frosty Awards categories have been released after selection from the Frosty Awards Committee. Winners will be announced via the Eagle Sports Network and a live stream awards show April 28 at 7 p.m.
The Seventh Annual Frosty Awards ceremony will not be open to the public, or anyone outside of the producers, due to continued concerns over COVID-19.
The nominees for the 14th category, play of the year, will be unveiled at a later time.
The Frosty Awards celebrate athletic excellence at Carson-Newman. The event will be broadcast live on the Eagle Sports Network at cneagles.com/live
These nominees will be trimmed down to four finalists per category before the winners are unveiled April 28. Fans can vote for which nominees should move on and be finalists at the following link: bit.ly/2020FrostyNoms
A combination of fan vote, and the Frosty Awards Committee will determine the finalists and winners. The Frosty Awards Committee will take into account any outstanding performances that occur for the rest of the month of April.
