Final Four set, voting begins in Carson-Newman Play of the Decade Bracket

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Two one seeds, a two seed and a three seed have advanced to the penultimate round for Carson-Newman's Play of the Decade.

The left side of the bracket is all chalk.  Top-seeded Braxton Westfield moved on from the Sparks Region as his one-handed snag at Lenoir-Rhyne edged a baseball triple play with 51 percent of the vote.  Westfield will draw the top seed from the Bivens Region.

Tanner Stepp's national championship-winning high jump collected 57.3 percent of the vote to get the region title over Rurik Pereira's bicycle kick.

In the all men's soccer final of the Holt Region - second seeded Joao Pedro Dowsley collected 64.1 percent of the vote to knock out that region's top seed, Tobias Karlsen, with his 88th national semifinal game winner.  Dowsley will run up against Charlie Brown and Ethan Goforth.  The duo retired the tying run at the plate to beat Northwood.  That play collected 57.5 percent of the vote to send upset-minded Romain Kelly, the region's five seed, out of the bracket.

Semifinal voting runs until Thursday when the championship match will begin.
