Introducing Carson-Newman's Play of the Decade Bracket

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Over the next five weeks, fans will be given the opportunity to choose Carson-Newman Athletics Play of the Decade.  First round voting will take place this week online at cneagles.com as well as on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Fans will be able to vote on eight matchups a day from each of the four "regions" in the bracket named after Carson-Newman legendary coaches Ken Sparks (Tuesday), Lewis Bivens (Wednesday), Frosty Holt (Thursday) and Bobby Wilson (Friday).

The Carson-Newman Athletic Communications office considered probably far too many plays to be reasonably considered healthy through the CoVID-19 quarantine, before sending 100 plays to a 16-person committee consisting of C-N administrators, coaches, former student-athletes and media members to seed in a March Madness-style 64-play bracket.

First round matchups can be found in the image below.

Voting on the second round, sweet 16, elite eight, final four and championship will take place  in the ensuing weeks.
