Eagle Anglers look to build off momentum after championship performance

LAKE CHICKAMAUGA, Tenn. - A week after repeating as Tennessee Bass Nation Governors Cup Champions, the Eagle Anglers head to Lake Chickamauga to compete in the FLW Abu Garcia College Fishing Open.

The Anglers reeled in a total of 21 fish for a combined weight of 31.05 pounds to complete the back-to-back. 

The pair of Hayden Gaddis and Ben Cully finished third, catching five fish for a combined weight of 17.85 pounds with their largest catch being 4.14 pounds. 

Teammates Cole Rankin and Ewing Minor finished right behind him at fourth, catching five fish for a combined weight of 13.2 pounds, the largest being 3.71 pounds. 

Gavin Clevenger and Chase Hastings finished sixth with five fish for a combined weight of 11.84 pounds, the largest catch weighing in at 2.45 pounds. 

Jacob Fraizer and Maddux Walters collected four fish for a total of 10.04 pounds and an eighth-place finish. 

Adam Harris and Josh Rouse caught two fish for a total of 3.77 pounds at the event. 

The Eagles will compete on Lake Chickamauga for two days before heading to Pickwick Lake, Ala. for the 2021 ACA Pickwick Slam beginning on Apr. 10.
