Anderson, Koza pace Eagles on day one on Lake Chickamauga

LAKE CHICKAMAUGA, Tenn. - The duo of Caz Anderson and Lee Rose Koza sit inside the top-20 after day one at the Abu Garcia College Fishing Championship tournament at Lake Chickamauga.

Anderson and Koza finished the day at 20th place after catching five fish for a total weight of 13 pounds, 13 ounces. 

Teammates Aidan England and Braden Perry sit right behind them at 22nd after catching five fish for a total weight of 13 pounds, 12 ounces. 

Griffin Heffington and Drake Hemby sit inside the top-40 after catching five fish for a total weight of 12 pounds, six ounces. 

Jacob Lambert and Austin Smith also caught five fish, the total mass of bass equating to 11 pounds, 14 ounces.

Ewing Minor and Cole Rankin reeled in a quintet of fish for a weight of 10 pounds, six ounces.

Gavin Clevinger and TJ Simmons hauled in two fish for a weight of four pounds, one ounce.

Conner Dimauro and Cole Sands of Bryan sit in first place after day one. The duo reeled in five fish for a weight of 23 pounds, 15 ounces. 

The Eagles are back on the water to wrap up the tournament tomorrow, Mar. 31. Boats are set to cast off at 7:30 am with weigh in set for 3:30 PM.
