Lambert, Smith wrap up top-20 finish in Kentucky

LAKE CUMBERLAND, Ky. - Jacob Lambert and Austin Smith finished 16th this weekend at the Carhartt Bassmaster Classic.

The duo hauled in a total of eight fish weighing 24 pounds, seven ounces to earn 235 points.

Braden Perry and Aidan England reeled in seven fish for a weight of 19 pounds, 15 ounces to earn 213 points, while Griffin Heffington and Drake Hemby caught seven fish for 18 pounds, 11 ounces for 207 points.

Cole Rankin and Ewing Minor hauled in a total weight of 16 pounds, 12 ounces of fish to earn 190 points and Caz Anderson and Lee Rose Koza caught a total weight of seven pounds, 14 ounces for 125 points.

Ben Cully and William Gaddis round out the field for the Eagles, catching a total weight of six pounds, 11 ounces for 114 points.

The Eagles are back on the water May 14-15 for the second stop of the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series presented by Bass Pro Shops on Lake Smith, Ala.
