Burnett to swim for National Title Wednesday night

INDIANAPOLIS – Carson-Newman sophomore swimmer Natalie Burnett (Sevierville, Tenn.) will compete Wednesday night for a National Championship in the women's 50 Free at the Division II Swimming and Diving Championships in Indianapolis.

Burnett qualified fourth for the Championship race with a time of 23.11. She was five-tenths of a second off the pace of Nova Southeastern's Bryndis Hansen, the top qualifier in the race.

Wednesday's championship session begins at 6:00 p.m.

The men's and women's 200 Medley Relay will also return Wednesday night to swim in the consolation heat at IU Natatorium. The women's team qualified 12th for in the prelims, while the men's side is seeded 14th.
