Burnett to swim for National Title Wednesday night

INDIANAPOLIS – Carson-Newman sophomore swimmer Natalie Burnett (Sevierville, Tenn.) will compete Wednesday night for a National Championship in the women's 50 Free at the Division II Swimming and Diving Championships in Indianapolis.

Burnett qualified fourth for the Championship race with a time of 23.11. She was five-tenths of a second off the pace of Nova Southeastern's Bryndis Hansen, the top qualifier in the race.

Wednesday's championship session begins at 6:00 p.m.

The men's and women's 200 Medley Relay will also return Wednesday night to swim in the consolation heat at IU Natatorium. The women's team qualified 12^th for in the prelims, while the men's side is seeded 14^th.
