Limited attendance in effect at NCAA Women’s Basketball Regional

GREENWOOD, S.C. – Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and in accordance with the newly released NCAA policy, this weekend's NCAA Women's Basketball Championships hosted by Lander will feature a limited attendance policy for each round of the Southeast Regional.

With this in effect, each member of the official 20-person travel of the eight participating teams will receive six complimentary passes for the event via a pass list at the gate. Outside of those, only essential staff to the event will be admitted to the arena.

The Eagle Sports Network will provide live broadcast coverage of every Carson-Newman game this weekend on cneagles.com/live and in the Lakeway Region on 106.3 (WPFT-FM, Sevierville). There will also be a live stream available courtesy of Lander.

Those that will be in attendance are reminded to wash their hands for a minimum of 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth and cover you cough or sneeze with a tissue or elbow.

Lander Athletics will continue to incorporate enhanced cleaning measures and public hygiene practices, including numerous hand sanitizing stations, at its athletic facilities. More information will be released when necessary in the future.
