DAHLONEGA, Ga. – After today's final round, Carson-Newman women's golf finished the 2022 LeeAnn Noble Memorial in 14th place.

C-N's team score in the final round was 314, ten strokes more than it had in the first two rounds. The Eagles team score for the event was 922 strokes to finish 14th.

Graduate student Maeve Cummins finished as C-N's lowest score of the event, with 223 strokes. She carded a 7-over 79 in the final round. She made birdie on the par 5, 14th hole in the final round. Cummins finished tied for 36th.

Senior Ellie Haughton had C-N's next best team score with a 226 for the tournament. Her final round was a 9-over 81. She birdied her final hole of the day.

Graduate student Hannah Holland had the best score for C-N in the final round with a 3-over 75. She recorded a team-high four birdies in the final round. Three of those four birdies came on par 5s. She was 1-under on the front nine. Holland finished the event with 232 strokes to finish tied for 53rd.

Freshman Madison Cline scored a 7-over 79 in her final round, which included one birdie. She responded well after an early double bogey in her round.

Junior Alice Thomas rounded out C-N's scoring with a 15-over 87. Thomas did not record a birdie in the final round. She made eight pars, five bogeys and five double bogeys in the round.

Anderson University won the event with a team total of 867. That was 3-over as a team for the event.  Wingate's Hailey McLaughlin won the individual title finishing the event 3-under.

The Eagles finish the fall season in Bradenton, Florida at the Rollins Legend on October 31st, and November 1st.
