Cline earns All-Tournament honors at Agnes McAmis Memorial

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – In just her fourth career collegiate tournament, Madison Cline earned all-tournament honors at the Agnes McAmis Memorial.  

Madison Cline (Strawberry Plains, Tenn.) earned her all-tournament honors thanks to two well-played rounds of golf the last two days. The freshman began the tournament yesterday with a 4-over 75. Her opening round was highlighted by a pair of birdies in her first few holes of the day. Yesterday's round also consisted of ten pars.

Despite no birdies in today's round, the freshman was still solid enough, going 9-over for an 80. She made eleven pars in the final round, six of which came on a solid back nine. The freshman's 21 pars were second most in the field. Cline finished in a tie for third place and earned all-tournament honors.

C-N has seven other golfers compete at the Agnes McAmis Memorial. The team finished in a tie for 3rd.

Ashley Holland (Sale Creek, Tenn.) went 15-over for the tournament. She made 12 pars, five birdies and an eagle in the two rounds. Holland finished in a tie for sixth.

Alice Thomas (Mid Glamorgan, Wales) went 17-over in the two rounds. The junior made 21 pars and two birdies over the course of the two rounds.

Ana Herrera (Mérida, Mexico) finished in a tie for 13th, going 18-over for the tournament. Her tournament performance was highlighted by a final round of 6-over 77 which included two birdies.

Aynsleigh Martin (Knoxville, Tenn) made 15 pars and four birdies in the tournament and to earn a 19-over par tournament score. She finished right behind Herrera in a tie for 14th.

Sydney Thomas (Knoxville, Tenn.) also finished in the top 30, going 26-over in two rounds. Thomas made 13 pars and two birdies in the tournament.

Maddie Raine (Manchester, England) made ten pars and a birdie in the two rounds. She finished 30-over for the tournament.

Madeline McNeal (Soddy-Daisy, Tenn.)made eight pars and went 41-over par for the tournament.
