Weekend doubleheader with King pushed back

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - A potentially perilous amount of precipitation that has peppered the area has pushed back the potential start of Carson-Newman's softball season.

Due to the deluge of drizzles, Carson-Newman has postponed its season-opener with King to Wednesday, Feb. 17 at noon.  The Eagles will tentatively get the 2021 softball season rolling Feb. 16 against Lee at 1 p.m. from the Vickee Kazee-Hollifield Softball Complex barring any further abundance of wet weather.

Both contests will be presented on the Eagle Sports Network online at cneagles.com/live.
