Softball postpones Saturday doubleheader with Catawba under threat of rain

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman and Catawba have agreed to pushback a Saturday doubleheader to Monday April 12 at 1 p.m. with the threat of rain in the forecast for this weekend.

A twin bill with North Greenville that was originally set for that day will either be rescheduled or cancelled. 

The Eagles have won seven straight and rank top five in the country in five offensive statistical categories.  

C-N will return to the field Tuesday at 1 p.m. with a road doubleheader at UVA Wise.
