JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman head volleyball coach Dave Franklin has set a pair of camps for July and August. 

Carson-Newman will play host to an Elite Overnight Camp from July 25-27^th for 8^th-12^th graders.  The camp is for serious players that are considering playing collegiately.  The camp schedule will be up-tempo and demanding.  Because of the rigorous daily schedule, campers should arrive at the camp in top physical condition. 

Campers will get specific position training as well as team training.  C-N volleyball will offer a shuttle service from the Knoxville airport on July 24, as well as one back on July 27.  The cost to attend this camp is 325 dollars for overnight campers and 275 dollars for commuters. 

Additionally the program will play host to a team competition camp on August 13.  That camp is a one-day camp that lasts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The camp is for entire high school teams wishing to compete in scrimmages, matches and tournament play.  BBQ lunch and concessions will be available for purchase on the day.

Franklin and the Carson-Newman coaching staff are also available to do two and a half day satellite camps for individual junior high and high school teams.  For more information, contact Franklin directly at dfranklin@cn.edu.
