DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD NOMINATION FORM

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman's Athletic Department is issuing a call for nominations for its distinguished service awards.

The distinguished service awards are named in honor five legendary athletic directors throughout the athletic department's history.  

• Ron Case Award (Presented to an individual who has contributed a notable premier service to Carson-Newman University Athletics)
• David Barger Award (Presented to a volunteer coach, staff member, or University administrator that has demonstrated exemplary leadership in furthering Carson-Newman University Athletics.)
• Frosty Holt Award (Presented to an individual who best personifies the Athletic Department's vision of Glorifying Christ through "Comprehensive Excellence.)
• Ken Sparks Award (Presented to an individual who has shown outstanding commitment and philanthropic dedication to Carson-Newman University Athletics.)
• Allen Morgan Award (Presented to a former Carson-Newman University student-athlete or Coach for notable accomplishments and life experience.)

Nominations are open year round, but close for the selection of the 2024 recipients on May 1st.  Carson-Newman's athletic club will select the recipients, who will be honored during a home basketball doubleheader in the winter.
