JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Consistent rain drops pelting the green grass of the Silver Diamond Baseball Complex has forced Carson-Newman to make changes to its opening South Atlantic Conference home series with Lincoln Memorial. The three-game set will now begin on Sunday at 1 p.m. with a doubleheader scheduled before things conclude on Monday afternoon at 2 p.m.
This is the seventh time this season that the Eagles have needed to make different accomodations courtesy of Mother Nature. Since the first eight games of the year have been played on their regularly scheduled dates, 10 games have been played on dates that were etched in stone prior to the season with each of the last three series shortened due to the weather.
Every game this weekend will be available with audio and video options on cneagles.com/live as the Eagle Sports Network brings you a dazzling description of the action.
