Carson-Newman Men’s Soccer Breaks into NSCAA National Rankings at No. 22

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The Carson-Newman men’s soccer team is ranked No. 22 in the latest Division II National Soccer Coaches' Association of America poll, NSCAA officials announced Tuesday.

The Eagles (10-3-1), who are the only South Atlantic Conference team in the top 25, broke into the rankings after going 2-0 last week, including a 2-1 victory over then-No.12 Northern Kentucky. C-N is also third in the Southeast Region.

Lees-McRae (N.C.) is No. 1 in the national poll, followed by Millersville (Pa.), Fort Lewis (Colo.), Drury (Mo.) and West Texas A&M.

Lees-McRae also holds onto the top spot in the Southeast Region, followed by Anderson.

Other SAC teams listed in the regional rankings are Wingate (tie-seventh), Lincoln Memorial (tie-seventh) and Tusculum (tie-tenth).
