2022-2023: Hartvig earned Honorable Mention All-American honors for his performance in the 100-yard breaststroke at the NCAA DII Swimming & Diving Championships. He finished 11th in 53.77. His efforts set a new school record. Andrei Roman held the record since 2017 at 54.74 before Hartvig's swim. He also competed in the men's 400-yard medley relay with teammates Arthur Gluzman, Wander Sousa, and Hobson Stelling. The team placed 13th with a time of 3:14.35. At the SAC Swimming Championships, Hartvig placed second in the men's 100 breast in 54.44, and he earned bronze in the 200 breast in 2:02.77, both new personal records. He had 15 top-5 finishes on the season and finished first in the 400-yard IM against Lees-McRae (4:18.17) and first in the 100 breast against Milligan (56.32). Hartvig was honored on the 2022-23 CSC Academic All-District team to conclude the season. 

 

2021-2022: Broke Carson-Newman's program record in the men's 200-yard medley relay with teammates Nikita Puzevich (Belarus), Asger Hartvig (Hoersholm, Denmark), Nicolas Lenuza (Spain), and Hobson Stelling (Memphis, Tenn.) with a time of 1:27.96 in the 2022 Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships. 

High School: Hartvig was named a three-time Danish junior champion, two-time Danish age group champion, and two-time Nordic junior champion. Named student of the year in 2020 with the highest GPA. 

Personal: Son of Helle Vaever Hartvig. Intends to major in mathematics at Carson-Newman.
