HARROGATE, Tenn. – Carson-Newman scored the game's final six points of the game holding Lincoln Memorial without points over the final 2:13 of the game to secure a 68-61 victory at Tex Turner Arena on Wednesday in South Atlantic Conference action.

"LMU is very hard to guard," Mincey said. "They can put five shooters on the floor. They have good action out of it and move very quickly out of it. It really strains out defense. They are going to live and die by the three. For us to have an 11-point lead, lose it, go down by five and to be on the road and get it back. I'm proud of them. Anytime you can win at LMU especially for us it's a good win."
