Blue beats Orange as C-N wraps up 2012 seasonApril 21, 2012The 2011-2012 tennis season came to a close today with the annual Orange and Blue tennis match. The Blue team outlasted the Orange team with a 56-48 victory. The format of the match consists of four rounds. Each round has a men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles, and a mixed doubles match. The final score reflects the total number of games won by each team over the four rounds.

Elliott Named Preseason All-SAC; Lady Eagles Picked EighthJanuary 24, 2012ROCK HILL, S.C. – Carson-Newman senior Kylie Elliott (Maryville, Tenn.) has been named to the 2012 Preseason All-South Atlantic Conference Women’s Tennis team. Elliott earns second team accolades after playing at No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles throughout much of her junior season. The Maryville, Tenn. native played through injury during her entire junior season.

Lady Eagle Tennis signs two for 2012-2013 seasonDecember 09, 2011JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman College has signed two student-athletes to play tennis for the Lady Eagles beginning in 2012-2013, C-N head tennis coach Jean Love has announced Friday. Haleigh Chastain (Knoxville, Tenn.) and Brooke Sanderson (Evans, Ga.) have signed to play with the Lady Eagles beginning next fall. Chastain is a standout at Christian Academy of Knoxville, while Sanderson plays at Greenbrier High School outside of thee Augusta, Ga. area.

Eagles, Lady Eagles compete in Fall Tennis Invite at ETSUSeptember 14, 2011JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The Carson-Newman Eagles and Lady Eagles participated in the ETSU Fall Invitational Tennis Tournament on September 9-10. 2011. A total of 224 men and women representing seven schools saw action in the tournament, which included 6 flights of singles and 3 flights of doubles for men and women. Highlights of the tournament for Carson-Newman included two flight winners and three flight finalists.
