Carson-Newman freshman outside hitter Lindsey Bryant is going on a spring break mission trip to Bulgaria led by the C-N Campush Ministries. Below is her blog. Check back for updates on Bryant's trip overseas.

My name is Lindsey Bryant and I am going on a trip to Bulgaria for a mission trip with my campus ministries team this spring break. I will depart from Atlanta, Ga. at 9:25 March 20 and via a short transition in Paris France at 11:15 a.m. the next day we will arive in Sofia Bulgaria at 4:10 p.m. I am so excited to see what God has in store for me and my team while in Bulgaria. While down there we will be working with Bulgarian Child Inc and helping remodel their"training and transition center" in Borovtsi, Bulgaria. Approxomatley 300 teens in Bulgaria are dissmissed from overnight- run institutions each year. These disadvantaded youth have few options in life. They have no family whom they can turn to, they lack basic life skills, and many of them attain a very low education. We will helping with the remodel of this center. When this center is completed it will provide a short term residential, work/study program for instutionalized youth where they will learn life, social, and vocational skills needed to achieve independent living. Again I am so excited to see what the Lord will do in each and every one of my team members hearts and how we can work with our hands for the glory of God.
