Threat of winter weather wreaks havoc on C-N athletic events, all Wednesday games postponed

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Because of the threat of inclement winter weather, all Carson-Newman athletic events scheduled for Wednesday have been postponed. 

That includes Carson-Newman men's and women's tennis home matches with Alabama-Huntsville – these contests have been moved to February 20 at 1 p.m. 

Carson-Newman women's and men's basketball games at Brevard initially scheduled for 6 and 8 p.m. Wednesday night, have been pushed back a day to Thursday.  Every South Atlantic Conference basketball game has been moved.

Meanwhile, Carson-Newman softball's road double header at King has been postponed (makeup date TBD); as has the Eagles' home baseball game with UVA-Wise (makeup date TBD).
