Likelihood of thunderstorms pushes baseball's series to Saturday and Sunday

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - With an 80 percent chance of rain in the forecast for Friday afternoon, the Carson-Newman baseball team has pushed its three-game series to Saturday and Sunday afternoon. The Eagles and Wolves will play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. with the series concluding Sunday at 1 p.m.

Despite a four-game losing streak, the Eagles face off against Newberry with their sights set on returning to the South Atlantic Conference Tournament where the top six teams battle for an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
