LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Carson-Newman freshman pitcher Rylee Gattis (Southside, Ala.) has been named to the NFCA Leadoff Classic All-Tournament, the NFCA announced Monday morning. 

Gattis was sublime through the weekend. She went 2-1 in the circle with tight wins over Columbus State, 2-1, and Ohio Dominican, 4-2, she was the hard-luck loser in a 1-0 decision to No. 17 Alabama Huntsville. 

She tallies a 1.14 ERA for the weekend in 20.2 innings pitched.  Gattis walked two and struck out now.  She gave up 21 hits on the weekend, but just two for extra bases.
