JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.-- Carson-Newman head football coach Ashley Ingram has added three more student-athletes to the list of players set to join the Eagles in the fall of 2024, bringing the Eagles total number of signees to 41.
Turk Daniels – 6-1 – 270 – OL – Moultrie, Ga. – Colquitt County - @JaquavianDanie1
HIGH SCHOOL: Daniels started 50 games in his high school career at Colquitt County. He racked up 212 pancake blocks and was named first-team all-region.
PERSONAL: The son of Cambrell Daniels and Eric Boyd, he plans to study business at Carson-Newman.
Carlsen Paul – 6-4 – 200 – DL – Lehigh Acres, Fla. – Barron Collier - @1804Carlsen
HIGH SCHOOL: Paul caused plenty of havoc for coach Mark Jackson at Barron Collier High School. He registered four sacks, four pass break ups, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery as a senior.
PERSONAL: The son of Yvrose Jules and Cherel Paul, he plans to study business at Carson-Newman.
Javian Winston – 6-0 – 175 – DB – Rome, Ga. – Rome – @javian_winston
HIGH SCHOOL: Winston led Rome High School in pass break ups as a junior enroute to all-region honors. A three-sport star for the Wolves, he also ran track and played baseball. Winston was a part of three region championship-winning teams.
PERSONAL: The son of Shantel Glanton and Jermey Winston, he plans to study sports management at Carson-Newman.
