JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Due to precipitation in the forecast, Saturday's showdown between Carson-Newman and Converse has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

This match between the Eagles and Valkyries was slated to be a make-up for the originally scheduled match on Feb. 25 that was moved because of unfavorable weather.

Carson-Newman now turns its attention to the beginning of its South Atlantic Conference schedule as the Railsplitters of Lincoln Memorial come to the banks of Mossy Creek on Tuesday. That match will begin at 1:30 at the friendly confines of the Buddy Catlett Tennis Complex.
