NORMAN, Okla. – Carson-Newman has found its way back into another national poll, now sitting at No. 21 in the latest Bushnell Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll that was released by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Friday.
The Eagles were receiving votes in the first poll of the spring that was released in February. They have not landed in the top 25 of the poll since sitting at No. 20 on Oct. 19, 2018. They opened the year ranked eighth in the nation by the GCAA.
Aside from the GCAA ranking, C-N is also 21st in the nation according to the Golfstat rankings that were released on Wednesday.
This ranking comes after Carson-Newman's tie for second-place at the Southern Tide Classic earlier this week with a three-over 859.
Tom Forster (Northamptonshire, England) led the Orange and Blue with a 12-under performance that gave him his third career tournament win. His 202 placed him in a tie for second on the South Atlantic Conference's low 54 holes list with C-N alum Andrew Hall who shot 202 twice during the fall of 2015.
.@tomforster88's 202 was his career-lowest 54-hole score and tied for the second-lowest in @SAC_Athletics history. His outing helped @cnmensgolf gain its third-straight top three finish.

The Eagles are in the midst of an 11-day break before heading to nearby Sevierville, Tenn. for the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate. The three-day event will begin on Sunday, March 17 from the Sevierville Golf Club.
