Anderson, Mars Hill contests postponed for men's basketball

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Saturday's home opener against Anderson and a Dec. 5 road trip to Mars Hill have both been postponed due to positive tests within Anderson and Mars Hill's respective tier one bubbles.

Per SAC protocols, if one of the team's due to play in a game receives a positive test in their "inner bubble" then a team is shut down for 14 days. Carson-Newman will now open the doors to Holt Fieldhouse in a doubleheader with the women's basketball program Dec. 2 against Newberry at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.  

 In accordance with public health guidlines surrounding the CoVID-19 pandemic, attendance will be limited to 305 people at Carson-Newman home basketball games during the 2020-21 season. For more information, click here for full protocols.
