Men's basketball reschedules two, postpones one

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman men's basketball has announced make up dates for previously postponed contests at home against Catawba and on the road against Mars Hill. Additionally, the Eagles have seen Saturday's game with Newberry postponed as the Wolves enter the SAC's CoVID management protocols.

Carson-Newman will take on Catawba inside Holt Fieldhouse at 4 p.m. Saturday Feb. 6 following the women's basketball game scheduled that day with Queens.  The make up date on the road at Mars Hill has been set for Feb. 18, a Thursday, at 5:30 p.m. from Burt Stanford Arena. The Eagles and Lions will play on back-to-back days as such after the Lions visit Holt Fieldhouse on Feb. 17.

A makeup date for Newberry has not been determined at this time.

Carson-Newman needs to play in two more South Atlantic Conference games to be eligible for inclusion in the league's postseason tournament.
