Rurik Periera's bicycle kick versus Wingate

A world-class bicycle kick finish in the sixth-minute against future NCAA Tournament team and SAC regular season champion Wingate puts junior Rurik Pereria comfortably in this category. Senior Kristian Speake set in a cross off a corner kick that was redirected by sophomore Marius Staalby and Pereria sent it into the back of the net for his first goal of the year.

Lukas Jokisch's goal versus Anderson

A 90th-minute goal scored by a senior Lukas Jokich propelled the Lads past the Anderson Trojans on Senior Night at McCown Field. Needing a win or tie to clinch a home match during the SAC Tournament Quarterfinals, Jokich's first game in a C-N kit was the biggest match of the season. Joao Pedro Dowsley crossed the ball in to Jokich who ripped off the shot to beat the Trojans' goalkeeper to send the Eagles into the SAC Tournament.

William Alderman's scoop and score

William Alderman provided a crucial spark for Carson-Newman football against Lenoir-Rhyne when he picked up a Bear fumble and rumbled 68 yards the other direction for a score. It is the only defensive touchdown in Alderman's career. A key block from fellow defensive end Javaris Neal helped spring the play.

Andy Hibbett's 64-yarder versus Mars Hill

Any of Andy Hibbett's three, 50+ touchdown yard runs against Mars Hill could qualify for the Frosty for Play of the Year.  However, it's the 64-yarder that stands out as Hibbett took a pitch around the right side of the line, picked up a block from Damian Baker and meandered back to the left for the long score.

Lonnie William's kickoff return at Newberry

Lonnie Williams' second kickoff return for a touchdown in 2014 was an electric one. Williams caught a Newberry Wolves kickoff at the nine and used a shimmy and a shake to blow past the entire Wolves' kick-coverage team to scoot for the score.
