Carson-Newman football season tickets on sale

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman football season tickets are on sale for the upcoming 2015 season featuring seven home games, the most chances Eagle fans will have to see C-N play at Mossy Creek in the regular season since 2002.

Season tickets for chairbacks are 100 dollars per seat for all ages and 70 dollars a seat for reserve bench seating.   Individual game chairback and reserve bench tickets are 18 and 12 dollars.

Call 865-471-3396 for tickets.

For the fourth consecutive season, Carson-Newman will open at home under the lights of Burke-Tarr Stadium.  The Eagles are 3-0 in Thursday night home openers and begin this season with the University of the Cumberlands (KY) on Sept. 3.  Cumberlands is two years removed from an appearance in the NAIA national title game.

The Eagles begin the season with three consecutive games inside the friendly confines of Burke-Tarr Stadium.  The Gulf South Conference's Shorter Hawks pay a visit to Burke-Tarr on Sept. 12 for a 1 p.m. kickoff.  The Eagles beat the Hawks 45-28 two years ago in Rome, Ga. – the only meeting between the teams.

C-N closes out its three-game home stand to begin the season with its conference opener against Catawba. The Indians have won just three times at Burke-Tarr Stadium over the last 35 seasons.

The Eagles close out September with the first of two road games. Sept. 26th sees the Eagles head up the mountain to face Mars Hill before staying on the road Oct. 3 with a 2 p.m. kickoff at defending conference champion Lenoir-Rhyne.

Oct. 10 brings the Eagles back home. Carson-Newman tangles with the Tornados of Brevard before welcoming in Newberry for homecoming on Oct. 17.  Carson-Newman has won three straight homecoming contests and will be looking for a fourth straight win the Wolves come to town.

Carson-Newman finishes off the road portion of its schedule in conference play on Oct. 24 with a roadtrip to Wingate.  The Eagles play their final road game of the year on Halloween night at 7 p.m. against second-year program and SAC schedule alliance member Limestone.

C-N finishes the season with back-to-back home games. North Greenville comes to town Nov. 7 to round out nonconference play before the Eagles welcome archrival Tusculum Nov. 14. It marks the first time since a wild 49-48 win over C-N over the Pioneers in 2010 that the Eagles will close out the regular season with their rivals.
