Rain rearranges match with Tusculum

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – With looming rain and storms in the forecast for the Lakeway Region, Carson-Newman and Tusculum's Thursday meeting at McCown Field has been pushed back a day for a 5 p.m. on Friday evening.

The match will start with senior day festivities when the team honors its graduating seniors Nyasha Mwamuka (Newtown, Wales), Harrison Collins (Cardiff, Wales), Rik van Dijk (Roden, the Netherlands) and Gordon Zebrowski (Hattingen, Germany).

Friday will be the 37th edition of a rivalry in which C-N trails the all-time record at 12-18-6 since 1990, currently in a four-match streak without a win. Carson-Newman enters the match with back-to-back wins under its belt, looking for its longest winning streak since October 2019.
