Lady Eagles lose to Anderson, 9-0, to open SAC play

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. — The Carson-Newman women's tennis team fell to Anderson, 9-0, on Tuesday afternoon to open South Atlantic Conference play at the Carson-Newman Tennis Complex.

With the loss, the Lady Eagles drop to 4-1 on the season.

The Trojans opened the day by sweeping the doubles action and then completed the shutout with wins in all six singles matches.

The Lady Eagles return to action on Friday at home against Mount Olive. Match time is set for 1 p.m.
