Eagles postpone Senior Day due to COVID issues within Mars Hill program

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman (7-5, 3-3 SAC) and Mars Hill (1-9, 0-8 SAC) have seen their Wednesday matchup postponed due to the Lions entering the SAC COVID-19 management protocols. Mars Hill did not have enough time to contact trace the program after having a positive test appear on the men's side of the net. 

No makeup date for the Eagles and Lions has been announced at this time. 

The Eagles come off a weekend where they were defeated by Lenoir-Rhyne 5-2 Saturday before gaining their third SAC victory with a 5-2 victory over Newberry on Sunday.  

C-N will return to action Saturday at 2 p.m. with a road matchup against #15 Wingate.
