JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – With 13 spring practice periods in the books, Carson-Newman readies for its annual spring game Saturday morning at 10 a.m. in Burke-Tarr Stadium.

Wide receiver Cade Meeks and safety Major Williams have been voted by their teammates to be captains.

The Eagle Club and Alumni Relations will jointly play host to a tailgate at 9 a.m.  The tailgate is free and open to the public.  Attendees are asked to register at the following link: https://give.cn.edu/register/orangeandbluetailgate so that an accurate head count may be obtained.

Carson-Newman will start at 10 with a practice section before segueing into the situational scrimmage approximately 30 minutes in.  Carson-Newman's first and second teams will battle offensively and defensively in a series of drives.

There will be no live stream for the contest, however, highlights of the event will be available later in the day on Carson-Newman's social media channels.
