No. 40 C-N Looks to Finish Regular Season on a High Note at Argonaut Invitational

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Looking to bolster its regional standing, No. 40 Carson-Newman heads to the Argonaut Invitational, the final regular-season event in Pensacola, Florida, at the Pensacola Country Club on Monday and Tuesday.

Seeded No. 11 in the first southeast regional rankings, the Argonaut Invitational provides a solid opportunity for the Eagles to climb the rankings in the final event of the spring ahead of the SAC Championships.

In its last time out, C-N delivered three solid rounds from Antonio Farinella, Nick Daugherty, and Luke Stock. The trio delivered their lowest round of the tournament to climb the leaderboards in the final round.

The Eagles, traveling to Pensacola to compete in the Argonaut Invitational for the first time, will have a new test on Monday and Tuesday. A year ago, the hosts, West Florida, took first place at the event.

The field features three SAC teams this year, with C-N, No. 2 Lincoln Memorial, and No. 23 Coker competing in the field.

The Eagles will roll with the lineup of Antonio Farinella, Luke Stock, Nick Daugherty, Eliiot MacGregor, and Steven Haremski, with Aidan Powter competing individually.

With decent playing conditions on the horizon in Pensacola, the Eagles will look to finish the regular season on a high note at the Argonaut Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.
