Lady Eagles drop 7-2 decision to North Georgia

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. — The Carson-Newman women's tennis team fell to North Georgia, 7-2, on Wednesday afternoon at the Carson-Newman Tennis Complex.

With the loss, the Lady Eagles fall to 7-9 on the season.

North Georgia won two out of the three doubles matches, as sophomore Megan Wilson (Maryville, Tenn.) and senior Stephanie Goode (Maryville, Tenn.) claimed C-N's point in doubles action at No. 3 doubles.

Sophomore Tiffany Delias (Morristown, Tenn.) tallied C-N's lone point the rest of the way as she won at No. 6 singles.

The Lady Eagles return to action on Friday at home against Mars Hill. Match time is set for 2 p.m.
