Carson-Newman plans viewing party for National Semifinal

Live Stream: Carson-Newman vs. UC Colorado Springs 

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman University will host a watch party for the Eagles women's soccer National Semifinal matchup against UC Colorado Springs on Thursday at 12:00 p.m.

The viewing party will live stream the event in Stokely Memorial Cafeteria.

Top seeded and second-ranked C-N heads to its third National Semifinal match and first since the 2004 and 2005. The Eagles (20-0-1) have never been to the National Championship game.

Simon Duffy's team has tied the program record for wins in a single season.

The Mountain Lions (17-4-1) make an appearance in the National Semifinal in their first ever trip to the NCAA tournament.

"Excited to see the school to still be able to support us however they can," Coach Duffy exclaimed. "For our players to know that our school is planning to do this and make a big deal out of it is phenomenal."
