JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman's Eagle Sports Network released the 23rd epside of its podcast - Mossy Creek Conversations - Wednesday featuring featuring Eric Trainer, a media whiz that has spent more than three decades working as a media relations and marketing director, as he remembers his time spent at Mossy Creek and his time with the University of Tennessee.
With more than three decades of media relations experience, Eric Trainer recounts his six years in media relations and marketing at Carson-Newman overseeing the department's transition to NCAA Division II and working with coaching legends like Ken Sparks and Pat Summitt. Since the fall of 1997, Trainer has worked in the Tennessee athletic department including the media relations director for the women's basketball program, the iconic Lady Vols.
