JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman's athletic department will play host to the inaugural Eagle Kickoff on the River August 8 at Calhoun's on the River in Knoxville from 5-7 p.m. 

The event is Carson-Newman's annual fall fundraising event.  Tickets are 25 dollars and can be purchased either over the phone by calling Doodle Johnson at  865-471-3396 or by visiting the following link: http://www.cn.edu/athletics/eagle-kickoff-on-the-river

Tickets will also be available at the door the night of the event for 35 dollars. 

A dinner at Calhoun's is included in the cost of admission, as is access to a slew of sports memorabilia and a trip to the RBC Heritage PGA event in the live and silent auctions.

A signed DeMar DeRozan Toronto Raptors jersey

Two tickets and transportation to watch the US Women's National Team play Costa Rica in Chattanooga.
