Antonio Wimbush: Antonio Wimbush turned in the best rushing season by a freshman for Carson-Newman football since Tyron Douglas. He tallied 584 yards on the ground and 11 touchdowns.  Wimbush had more touchdowns in the SAC than any other freshman.  Wimbush crested the 100-yard mark twice, gaining 111 yards against North Greenville and 108 yards against Tusculum.  Wimbush scored six touchdowns between those two games.  He is the first Eagle running back since Tyron Douglas to have multiple three-rushing touchdown performances in his freshman season.

Brian Bembry: Brian Bembry lived in opponents backfields for much of his freshman year.  The defensive tackle from Parrish, Fla., made 13 of his 33 tackles behind the line of scrimmage.  Bembry was third in the SAC in tackles for loss and led the league in the statistical category among freshmen.  Bembry had a career high 3.5 tackles for loss against Limestone and made his way in the Catawba Indians backfield three times.  He also had multiple tackles for loss against North Greenville.  Bembry tallied sacks against the Saints, Indians and Valdosta State.

Carson Wise: Carson Wise earned second team All-SAC honors and second team D2CCA All-region honors in a year where he was named SAC Special Teams Player of the Week on three occasions..  Wise is the first Carson-Newman player since fellow kicker Curt Duncan in 2012 to earn three SAC special teams player of the week accolades. He does so after tying Duncan's school record for points in a game by a kicker with 17 in the Eagles' regular season finale with Tusculum.  Wise drilled three field goals and converted all eight of his extra point attempts in the Eagles' 65-32 stomping of Tusculum in the regular season finale.  Wise nailed a career long 42-yard field goal before the half let out Saturday and also hit from 25 and 30 yards on the day. Wise has already inserted himself into C-N's record books this season.  His 104 points this year are the second most in school history for a kicker. Curt Duncan set that mark in 2013 with 109.  His 65 made PATs are third most all-time and his 13 made field goals are fourth.

Jake Headrick (Maryville, Tenn.) was the only men's golfer to play in every event during the fall season. He posted the team's third-lowest stroke average during the first five tournaments with an average of 73.0. His lowest round of the season came during the first round of the Saint Leo's Men's Invitational with a round of 68, which ties for the seventh-lowest score by an Eagle this season.  Headrick posted two top-20 finishes with a 17th-place showing at the State Farm Intercollegiate and a 19th-place finish at the North Georgia Fall Invitational.

Thibault Mathorez (Graces, France) was a first team All-South Atlantic Conference selection after scoring five goals and adding an assist during his first campaign at Mossy Creek. Mathorez began his Carson-Newman career with a goal in just his 34th-minute of action against Alabama-Huntsville. He's also scored against Lenior-Rhyne, Newberry, Mars Hill and Young Harris and also added an assist against the Lions. Mathorez ranked ninth on the team with 18 shots, but missed five contests due to an injury sustained against Wingate.
