JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman quarterback De'Andre Thomas (Milledgeville, Ga.) and women's soccer goalie Jessica Fraiture (Hebron, Ky.) have been named the Chick-Fil-A Male and Female Athletes of the Week.
Thomas ripped the Tusculum Pioneers to shreds on the ground in the second oldest rivalry in the state of Tennessee.
Thomas rushed 21 times for 203 yards and three touchdowns and also completed 7-of-12 passes for 109 yards in Carson-Newman's 65-32 victory over Tusculum.

The Eagles rolled up 570 rushing yards (the fifth highest total all-time) and 679 yards of total offense in the win.
Fraiture recorded her fifth-straight clean sheet and set a school record with her 10th shutout of the season. The freshman made six saves against the Pirates.
She set the school record with her 19th win of the year and 10th shutout. Carson-Newman also set a school record with its 12th-straight win.
