FEMALE FRESHMAN :

Braelyn Wykle: Wykle became the first freshman to start the first game of a season in four years dropping 23 points on 9-for-14 shooting against USC Aiken on Nov. 8. The rookie has not looked back since being the team's second-leading scorer. She ranks in the top five in the SAC in assist-to-turnover ratio, assists and field-goal percentage.

Harli Smith: Moving into the starting lineup after the first weekend of the year, Smith is the team's second-leading rebounder shooting the ball at a high percentage. The rookie finished a rebound shy of a double-double in a win over King on Nov. 13 with 14 points adding five assists. Smith is registering nine points and six boards so far this season.

Manon Compagner: Freshman Manon Compagner won the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Female Simmer of the Week Award for her efforts against Lees-McRae on Nov.16 in which she swam the 50-yard butterfly portion of the team's 200-yard medley relay in 24.5 seconds, a lifetime best and just half of a second shy of tying a program record. She also took home first place in the 100-yard freestyle in 52.1 seconds which was also a lifetime best and the 15th-fastest time in the nation at that point in the season. On the final day of the Tennessee Invitational, Compagner finished the 100-yard butterfly in 54.52, the second-fastest time in program history.

Makayla Garner: A forward from Fort Mill, S.C. freshman Makayla Garner stepped into a starting role with the Eagles in her first season, scoring two goals against Young Harris on the season. She logged 1,011 minutes on the pitch and also added a pair of assists for a total of six points. Garner ranked third on the team in shots on goal with 17.

Addie Henry: A mainstay in the middle of the field for the Eagles, freshman Addie Henry recorded the second-most minutes of any member of the team with 1,406, earning a spot on the SAC honorable mention squad. Her lone goal on the season was a memorable one -- a booming shot to the back of the net in the SAC Quarterfinals against Queens.
