FOREST CITY, N.C. – Carson-Newman third baseman Wesley Dozier (Cornelious N.C.) and pitcher Ryan Fillers (Greeneville, Tenn.) have been named to the 2010 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Baseball All-Tournament team.

Dozier batted .308 for the tournament with four RBIs and a double. His big swing of the tournament was a two-run home run in C-N's opening round loss to Catawba on Thursday. He also squared up a number of other balls on the weekend, lining out three times in the tournament.

Fillers pitched seven and a third innings of two-hit ball in the Eagles tournament-ending loss to Mars Hill College. The freshman allowed just three hits and struck out three to keep the Eagles close against the Lions. Opponents hit just .111 against him in the outing, and he allowed only two unearned runs.

Carson-Newman went 1-2 in the SAC Tournament to finish fourth. The Eagles wrap up their season this Saturday with a doubleheader at Montevallo.
