JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. — Carson-Newman rising senior Chase Boruff (Knoxville, Tenn.) has been selected to the Coastal Plain Collegiate Baseball League National All-Star team.
Boruff, a right-handed relief pitcher for the Forest City Owls, has seven saves with a 0.52 earned run average and 31 strikeouts in 17 innings pitched.
Boruff made 19 relief appearances for the Eagles in 2010 and tallied two saves.
The All-Star game will be played on Tuesday in Forest City, N.C. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. at McNair Field.
