Throughout the 2016 volleyball season, freshman middle blocker Alex Biro (Ootlewah, Tenn.) will write about her experiences at Carson-Newman with the volleyball program. A new installment will be released each Monday afternoon. 

Every home game surprises me more and more… the energy we have from the stands is undeniable! All you Eagle fans that come out week after week to show your support and encouragement means more than you know.

It's such a great feeling to know that with each point we earn on the court, every one of you feel that same thrill. What's considered as the first half of the season (the part where you play each team once) is coming to a close with our final two matches coming up this weekend, Brevard and Lenoir-Rhyne.

After that and a home tournament, conference play cycles back in full swing. With that is a new opportunity to prove how much we have grown and will continue to grow, and we can't wait for you all to be a part of it!
