Franklin compiles eight-person recruiting class

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – The 2017 Carson-Newman volleyball recruiting class has been announced by coach Dave Franklin that includes eight student-athletes, five outside hitters, a setter, a libero and a middle blocker that will be eligible to begin play for the 2017 season and have four years of eligibility.

"We are very excited for this class of eight," Franklin said. "It's a class that brings in at least one player in each position to help mold the talent level and depth of our roster. The 2017 class has a ton of experience playing at the Open and National levels of club volleyball which will have them prepared to compete for playing time right away.  We were not only able to recruit great players, but each of these athletes is a high character person who will contribute to the culture our team has worked hard to build this spring. It's a great great day to be an Eagle and the future is very bright!"
