From now until Jan. 3, the Carson-Newman Athletic Communications Department will debut the Frosty Award nominees for the fall semester. These are the fall nominees for Coach of the Year. Christmas Day, we'll unveil the candidates for Plays of the Fall
The 12th annual Frosty Awards will take place April 29 and honor athletic excellence in Carson-Newman's athletic department.

Coach of the Year
Cat Collins (Volleyball): In her first season at the helm of the Carson-Newman volleyball program, Cat Collins guided the Eagles to a five-win turnaround. Collins helped the Eagles into the SAC tournament as a five seed. Along the way, Maddie Hurst, Emerson Ahsmuhs and Blair Cherry all-league laurels.
Ashley Ingram (Football): Ashley Ingram won his first seven games as Carson-Newman head football coach, leading the Eagles to a four-win turnaround and an NCAA playoff appearance. The Eagles earned a Mountain Division title while Jayden Sullins and Major Williams earned All-America honors.
